DISPATCH / CALL CENTER MANAGER

Location:  Honolulu

Primary Purpose of Position
To promote and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with our existing customers that has a Pacific Wireless Communications Service and Maintenance Agreements.  Incrementally increase the amount of Service Agreement contracts in the assign Service Representative Territory assigned.

Major Duties of Position

  • Position requires CSR to be in front of customers the majority of his/her time.
  • Promote and sell company’s Service Department Service and Maintenance Agreements.
  • Perform personal visits with existing and potential service customers.
  • Provide customer services such as picking up radios for repair and delivering it back to our valued customers.
  • Assist customers in purchasing parts, batteries, and accessories.
  • Coordinate with customer any service resolution problems and follow up on all indications of customer dissatisfaction.
  • Call on users of competitive service for the purpose of keeping in touch with these users in the event they require our company services and solutions.
  • Pass on to the proper equipment sales group leads on prospective equipment purchasers.
  • Duties and responsibilities include picking up and delivering of repaired or new equipment.

Job Qualifications

  • Exceptional personal customer service skills both in person and on the telephone.
  • Excellent command of the English language in both written and oral forms.
  • Good math skills.

DISPATCH / CALL CENTER MANAGER

Job Duties and Tasks

Manage and perform a variety of tasks to coordinate and supervise the activities and responsibilities of the Pacific Wireless Communications Service Department Call Center.  The Call Center is a key component of Pacific Wireless Communications state-wide service department. The company Call Center’s main goal is to provide quality service in a timely manner by working with Customers, Technicians, Installers, Sales Personnel, and other PWC employees. Major tasks of Call Center include: Scheduling, Coordination, Status, Follow up of Service related activities, and completing all required documentation. Service scheduling activities include (but are not limited to): Installs, Removals, Trouble calls, Preventive Maintenance Inspections, Estimates, Site walks, Programming, etc. Documentation includes (but not limited to): Service Orders, half-sheets, Service Reports, Customer Reports, Customer documents, Purchase Orders, PMI sheets, spread sheets, scheduling sheets, etc.

Major tasks include:

  • Provide Leadership in support of the Call Center tasks, goals, and responsibilities in line with providing 1st Class Service and being at the 1st Class level;
  • Create and maintain highly productive/effective Team environment that will concentrate on generation, tracking, follow up, escalation, and completion of all Call Center tasks in a priority manner which meets or exceeds Customer requirements/expectations.
  • Coordination of training to grow the knowledge base of Call Center employees;
  • Supervise and assist Call Center employees to improve individual and Team performance to meet the Call Center and Customer Satisfaction goals and responsibilities.
  • Customer Service tasks/responsibilities/assignments.
  • Follow up on all Customer Issues to assure that it is resolved;
  • Assist in basic troubleshooting of communications systems by obtaining information from customers and/or other sources to provide information necessary for the Field Technical Manager and field technicians to isolate system outages and/or problems;
  • Excellent Customer Service/Satisfaction skills.
  • Ability to supervise, lead, and mentor Call Center employees to be successful in their jobs.
  • Ability to work with other employees and management to meet the goals of the company and within the guidelines of the company’s code of conduct.
  • Ability to effectively handle irate customers and customer issues.
  • Ability to communicate successfully with Technical Customers and PWC field personnel.
  • Ability to improve technical knowledge and management skills with PWC provided training.



Job Qualifications

Education:       Minimum:  High School degree.
Preferred: 2 year Associates degree or a 4 year degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent.
OR
Successful experience as a Supervisor in a call center or dispatch center.

Experience:     Minimum of 2 years of comprehensive experience in managing (and supervising personnel related to) a successful and effective Comm Center, Scheduling Center, and/or Dispatch Center.
Candidate having experience in writing effective technical reports is a plus.

Other:              Minimum Skills: Excellent typing skills, in depth experience in using Microsoft Word and Excel.

MOBILE INSTALLER

Location:  Hilo, HI

Job Duties and Tasks
Perform a wide variety of duties associated with the installation, dismantling, assembly, inspection and routing testing and repair of communications equipment in a company service center or at a customer’s location

Inspect equipment to be used to determine condition and install mobile units including drilling of holes, routing of cables, and the connecting of the antenna, control heads, speakers, microphones, and other auxiliary accessories

May repair minor defects by soldering connections, wiring leads and realigning leads to assure correct positioning, dress wires, assemble parts and conduct continuity checks by use of such standard equipment as voltmeters or other test equipment

Work under direction of licensed technician or supervisor referring problems of a technical nature for aid and guidance. 

Maintain company property and perform related work such as cleaning, packing, and storing of equipment and the keeping of records such as number of items repaired or installed.

Job Qualifications
Education:       High School Graduate
Experience:     Some related work background
Other:  Experience in Car Stereo and/or Car Alarms
May have basic training in electronics or electronic theory. 
Electro-mechanical or automotive experience desirable.

LEAD TOWER TECHNICIAN/INSTALLER

Pacific Wireless Communications is looking for experienced applicants to install equipment on cellular towers, rooftops and other elevated structures. Perform other installation, inspection and maintenance activities as directed. Follow safety rules and utilize 100% tie off techniques at all times. Possess basic hand tools for type of work being performed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Climbing towers in excess of 300 feet and ladders at various heights
• Construction, erection and maintenance of various tower types
• Off-loading material and inventory
• Preparation and cleaning of sites
• Ability to follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
• Frequent overtime is required
• Other duties may be assigned

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to climb and to work at heights
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Ability to work outside in all elements; including but not limited to snow, rain, wind and extreme temperatures.

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, service & repair of Motorola P25 two way radio systems and various electronic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Field repair of Motorola P25 two way radio systems
• Major tasks include troubleshooting customer communications equipment and systems (including LMR systems and Microwave Systems)
