SERVICES COORDINATOR

Location: Honolulu

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm

SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION

Perform a variety of tasks to coordinate and process PWC’s services with external and internal customers.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Creating, processing, scheduling and completing services trouble calls, preventative maintenance and projects. Dispatch technicians to service calls, maintain open issues and service call logs to closure, assist customer service, and coordinate activities of the Services Departments.

● Receive, prioritize and schedule telephone and email requests for service and quotes including parts required.
● Understand nature of customer issue and communicate issue to field technicians.
● Follow-up with technicians to obtain status of service calls
● Follow-up with external and internal customers on the status of service calls and job walks.
● Enter billing charges and submit service orders to Accounting for billing
● Service Maintenance Agreement (SMA) data entry, equipment inventory review and research
● Process parts requisitions for equipment repairs and for stock
● Provide outstanding customer service along with updates to internal and external customers
● Assist accounting department in preparation and researching customer orders
● Check and report on Customer Repair status and action items.
● Duties include open & closing the office, opening door to greet guests.
● Assist in preparation and completion of Customer Reports
● Schedule Preventive Maintenance Inspections (PMI), track progress, develop compile and prepare PMI reports (collect and mail PMI forms) as appropriate
● This position is hourly non-exempt.

SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
● Must have a pleasant personality and professionalism.
● Ability to communicate well with customers, PWC personnel, and technicians.
● Must have strong organizational and math skills.
● Basic accounting knowledge and skills useful.
● Candidate should be able to multi-task, provide accurate and clear details, and have strong follow-up skills.
● Must be computer literate with experience and knowledge of creating spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel
● Able to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changes.
● Two year college degree or higher is a plus.

FIELD RADIO TECHNICIAN

Location: Oahu, Big Island, Kauai

The Field Radio Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, service & repair of Motorola P25 two way radio systems and various electronic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Field repair of Motorola two way radio systems
• Major tasks include troubleshooting customer communications equipment and systems (including LMR systems and Microwave

Systems
• Key skills and abilities include basic knowledge of electronic circuits found in communications equipment; problem solving skills to troubleshoot equipment critical to a large system where down time is very costly; ability to deal with customer technical and manufacturer field personnel

Job Qualifications:
• Experience as an electronic or IT field tech
• Ability to work independent of supervision

• Basic understanding of electronic theory and radio design
• Strong technical, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform on call duties after hours and on weekends.

Education and Skills:
• Electronic Technical school training (Associates Science degree in Electronics Technology is a plus) • Electronic/IT theory knowledge required

P25 FIELD RADIO TECHNICIAN

Pacific Wireless Communications is the leading Motorola 2-way radio service and sales company in the State of Hawaii. We have 3 job locations available: Oahu, Big Island and Kauai. The Field Radio Technician will be co-responsible for the maintenance and repair of P25 Motorola P25 trunk radio systems on the respective islands.

Job requirements entails being on call on a weekly rotational basis. A company vehicle will be provided.

Job Qualifications

• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing of Motorola P25 radio trunk radio systems, including dispatch consoles, microwave links, and subscriber radios.
• Current Motorola Certifications for Motorola P25 Core, G Series Repeaters, MCC7500 Consoles.
• Current ETA, Certified Electronics Technician and CompTIA Network+ certification.
• R56 Motorola or ETA certification is a plus
• Ability to work independent of supervision
• Basic understanding of electronic theory and radio design
• Autonomous individual that is motivated, a team player and dedicated to training lower level engineers and or technicians
• Ability to deploy and perform work in the field as a part of a team or as a technical team lead.
• Ability to pass background check as required by customer Kauai Police Department.
• Must have clean driver's license abstract to drive company vehicle.

Education and Certification
• 2 year electronics degree or equivalent military radio electronics schooling
• A+ and Network+ certification highly desired
• ETA CET certification is required

WIRELESS REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

Location: Honolulu

The Pacific Wireless Communications (PWC) Wireless Regional Sales Manager shall be responsible for the successful Marketing and Sales of Motorola Solutions wireless products and solutions in the State of Hawaii. The Sales Manager is responsible for hiring and training of new Salespeople and/or Sales Agents. The Sales Manager shall be responsible for the combined performance of the PWC sales team and for making sure that everyone within their teams reaches the sales goals set.

Motorola product and solutions training will be provided by employer. Knowledge and experience in wireless communications is a plus.
