ACCOUNT MANAGER

Location: Honolulu, HI

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The Account Manager is responsible to call on existing customers, establish new customers, assess needs, propose solutions and sell radio and wireless data systems. Additionally, the Account Manager must maintain relationships with customers, attend trade shows and provide a weekly report of activities.

CUSTOMER EXPRESS REPRESENTATIVE

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for all inside sales activities focusing on outbound telephone sales efforts. ELECTRONIC RADIO TECHNICIAN

Location: Kauai & Honolulu, HI

Position summary:

The Field Service Technician repairs, maintains, modifies, and installs communications equipment and systems in a company-owned service center or at a customer site.

Major tasks include:

  • Troubleshooting customer communications equipment and systems
  • Repairing customer unit by replacing the defective module or component
  • Discussing equipment operation and problems with customer personnel to determine approach and schedule for various activities
  • Debugging system after installation or update of equipment; preparing job tickets, material requests, warranty forms, FCC forms, and various paperwork associated with job
  • Consulting with customer on future equipment applications
  • Modifying equipment for options, factory updates or customer request
  • Routine performance testing to check and set various signal levels in the systems
  • Performing various activities associated with company service van, such as, installing test equipment, maintaining repair parts supply, and arranging vehicle service and installing customer equipment when necessary.

Key skills and abilities include:

  • Basic knowledge of audio, RF, digital, and microprocessor electronic circuits found in communications equipment

FIELD INSTALLER

IT SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Job Duties and Tasks:

The IT Service Technician must have knowledge of a broad range of desktop, server and networking products, including wireless access points, routers and switches. The position is responsible to start, install and a complete a wired or wireless network computer systems by reviewing work orders, gathering equipment, supplies, tools, and coordinating schedules with customers, installing cable, installing equipment and programming equipment while adhering to the standards of Pacific Wireless Communications. The IT Service Technician must be able to maintain and test equipment related to a network computer system for functionality, troubleshoot and correct deficiencies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The IT Service Technician performs the following essential duties:

Technical Functions and Skills:

  • Provide technical support for external clients.
  • Handle problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up for routine user problems, referring more complex problems to next level of technical staff.
  • Train users on software and hardware.
  • Must have knowledge of and be willing to observe safe practices and procedures during installing and service.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be willing to continually learn through training (both formal and informal) including reading instruction manuals.
  • Must have excellent customer relation skills.
  • Must have strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellence troubleshooting IP based CCTV and low voltage systems skills.
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Must be capable of working at heights using a ladder and bucket truck.

Business Functions and Skills:

  • Must keep and organize accurate records of installations, service and equipment.
  • Call software and hardware vendors to request service regarding defective products.
  • Communicate problem resolution progress and status to appropriate parties.
  • Analyze/evaluate incident reports and make recommendations to reduce incident rate.
  • Prepare standard statistical reports, such a service order and maintenance reports.
  • Develop and document problem resolution process.
  • Document user training materials and procedures.
  • Assist in evaluating technology resource needs.
  • Meet customer expectations (responsiveness, follow-up, courtesy, professionalism).
  • Perform other duties as assigned and as relevant to the position.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of network and computer support experience.
  • Have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in the related field can be substituted for a year of experience.
  • CCNA and MCSE is a plus.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Candidate is required to adhere to company drug testing policy and will be required to pass background check.
  • Must have a valid Hawaii driver’s license with a clean driving record

JR. FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN / INSTALLER

Location: Kauai & Maui

Job Duties and Tasks

Perform a variety of tasks to support the Service Department in a Field Environment. Assignments and tasks include: Installation, Removals, Setup, Maintenance, Repair, Servicing, Programming, and Labor type of work (hauling, lifting, moving, relocating, carrying, deconstructing & constructing) on Wireless, Communication, CCTV, Network, IT based and other electronic equipment. Work with and assist Technicians in assigned tasks.

Major tasks include:

  • Removal and Installation of Wireless, Communication, CCTV, Network, IT based and other electronic equipment in Mobile vehicles and Field Locations.
  • Program, setup, repair, maintain, adjust, align, and test Wireless, Communication, CCTV, Network, IT based and other electronic equipment.
  • Perform labor including: hauling, lifting, moving, relocating, carrying, deconstructing, and constructing Wireless, Communication, CCTV, Network, IT based and other electronic equipment.
  • Assist Technicians, engineering, and other technical representative in completing assigned tasks such as maintenance, repair, design, modification, removal, and installation of Wireless, Communication, CCTV, Network, IT based and other electronic equipment and systems.
  • Interfacing with Customers, which includes the use of customer interface/customer service skills.
  • Interface with vendors, co-workers, and other company representatives to complete assigned tasks.
  • Completed documentation related to tasks: Service Orders, Half-sheets, Service Reports, Diagrams, and other needed documentation.

The Physical Security Technician must have knowledge of a broad range of security and networking products, including access control and IP based and Analog CCTV systems. Knowledge of Cisco, Bosch, Pelco and/or DvTel equipment is a plus. The position is responsible to start, install and complete IP based CCTV, Access Control and Monitoring System installations by reviewing work orders, gathering equipment, supplies, tools, and coordinating schedules with customers, installing cable, installing equipment and programming equipment while adhering to the appropriate national and local codes as well as the standards of Pacific Wireless Communications. The Physical Security Technician must be able to maintain and test equipment related to an IP based CCTV and Access system for functionality, troubleshoot and correct deficiencies.

STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Duties include:

  • Maintaining general and subsidiary ledgers and supporting documentation. Assists with daily, monthly and yearly closings.
  • Performing reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting information.
  • Preparing necessary journal and adjusting entries to general and subsidiary ledgers
  • Obtaining reasonable assurance of the accuracy of accounts; investigates and resolves any discrepancies or irregularities in the accounts.

  • Flexible personality, capable of adapting to new circumstances and thriving in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and problem-solve.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, experience with Ormandy a plus
