M Series
The SONAbeam™ M series, designed with carriers' needs in mind, is ideal for medium range high-availability links. Featuring a rugged, cast-aluminum, environmentally-sealed housing and up to 50 times the power of competing products, the SONAbeam™ M series is the toughest, most powerful system currently available. Quadruple-redundant transmitters, combined with the largest receiver in the industry, further ensure transmission integrity. The SONAbeam™ features an aesthetically pleasing yet practical industrial design - each aspect of the design serves a specific product function. Provides up to 1.5 to 2,448 Mbps data rate, with a distance of 3.1 miles with the following protocols: OC-3, STM-1, Fast Ethernet, OC-12, STM-4, Gigabit Ethernet, OC-48, STM-16
S Series
The SONAbeam™ S series provides short-range, all-weather, high-availability links for enterprise, industrial and carrier applications. Link ranges can be increased significantly in favorable climatic regions, or when reduced availability is acceptable, making the S series an ideal solution for many applications. Lightweight, compact and elegantly styled, the S series features a rugged exterior housing, similar to that of the SONAbeam™ M products, making it suitable for outdoor operation in all weather environments and indoor installation, transmitting through the office window. SONAbeam's™ 1550 nm operating wavelength and unique transceiver design allow the SONAbeam™ 155-S to provide up to 25 times the power of competing products. Provides up to 31 to 1,448 Mbps data rate, with a distance of 2.4 miles with the following protocols: OC-3, STM-1, Fast Ethernet, OC-12, STM-4, Gigabit Ethernet, 270 Mbps, 1064 Mbps, datarate transparent and reclocked .
E Series
The SONAbeam™ E series provides cost-effective links for short-distance applications. The E Series is very versatile, offering support for a number of different network protocols through interchangeable cards which make ramping bandwidth or switching protocols quick and inexpensive. The interface cards will support NxT1/E1, 10/100 Ethernet, E3/DS3 protocols and will all offer the added reliability of clock data-rate recovery (CDR). The SONAbeam™ E Series can be easily transported to installation sites making it ideal for situations that require rapid deployment. Provides up to 1.5 to 68 Mbps data rate, with a distance of 2.3 miles with the following protocols: N x T1/E1, E3, DS3, OC-3/STM-1, Ethernet, datarate transparent or reclocked.
