With the proliferation of communications services such as cellular, paging, two-way radio and personal communications services (PCS), more wireless communications service providers are looking for antenna site locations to expand their networks. Antenna Site Management
Negotiations
Negotiate appropriate lease amounts with existing and new accounts, execute standard lease agreements on all accounts, and ensure businesses comply with all aspects of the Lease Agreement.
Marketing
Actively pursue companies to lease space on the rooftops.
Inventory
Conduct an inventory of existing antennas, and other associated equipment; make recommendations of the fair market value or other appropriate consideration.
Electromagnetic Energy (EME) Surveys
Conduct a preliminary Radio Frequency survey to serve as a baseline of known RF energy present on site.
Surveys After Any Change At Site
Conduct a subsequent survey upon any addition or change in transmitting equipment.
Inventory Inspection
Conduct an inspection of inventory and equipment twice a year.
Financial Services
Collect lease payments, pursue overdue payments, provide monthly statements, submit vacate and eviction notices as appropriate.
Planning
Develop a plan to maximize the number of wireless equipment units on the site safely as possible.
Facilitating Complaints
Facilitate resolution of complaints regarding interference between the communications equipment and licensees.
Radio Site Maintenance
General Monthly Maintenance
- Ground maintenance
- Control the vegetation along the fence line
- Vacuum and dust the telecommunication room
- Collect and remove trash from cell site
Quarterly Generator Maintenance
- Check fluid levels/ top off as needed
- Check fuel, fuel lines and gauges,
- Run generator, check voltage, frequency, thermostat
- Check belts and hoses
- Check electrical wires and battery
- Check for rodent activity/clean up and repair
- Trailer—Check tires
- Check for rust, spray with rust inhibitor as needed
HVAC Maintenance
Bi-monthly scheduled maintenance for HVAC systems at selected cell sites - Includes routine inspections with service in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations, diagnostic testing and filter cleaning
Electromagnetic Energy Services (EME)
To determine if the site is within FCC’s Standards, PWC will conduct an EME Study that includes: Data Research, Inventory, MPE Calculation, Site Survey, and Documentation
If the Site exceeds the FCC’s General Population Standards, PWC can provide (optional):RF Safety Plan, Signage, Controlled Site Training, Access Restriction.
