Path Profiles

Whether a proposed Point-to-Point (PtP) microwave link is going on existing radio sites or a new site is to be constructed, it is frequently require that the proposed paths be evaluated. PWC utilizes Pathloss for these evaluations. Pathloss utilizes the latest topological datum to generate path profiles graphically illustrating any terrain obstructions. PWC then augments this with site surveys. The data gathered while onsite is then entered into the Pathloss profile as obstructions such as building clutter or foliage. Pathloss also includes evaluation of climatic affects such as rain to produce an expected reliability value and outage seconds per year.
